Included in the Tour Price

The typical cost of the tours is $3,000 – 3,500  (double occupancy).

Costs are based on rate exchange of 1.10. If that changes, the final cost is subject to a surcharge based on the exchange increase.

Accommodations for 9 nights at the Mariana Farm in Umbria.

Entrance fees, transportation, food & beverages from the time I pick you up in Florence until we return to Florence

Admission to all group venues, presentations, tours

All Meals are included: breakfast each day in our kitchens, welcoming reception at Maridiana. We typically have “large” meal at a restaurant and a smaller at home meal each day.

Our home kitchens are stocked with wine, beer, juices, water, snacks and supplies to cook home meals as you wish.  I am happy to get your requests prior to the trip.  Just let me know your preferences.

Your responsibility: Not included in the Tour Price Transportation coming from the airport upon arrival and returning to the airport. Taxis are readily available at the airport and the hotel at any hour. Travel insurance, is required. It will cover the cost of delayed and canceled flights, canceled trips, medical emergencies. Many plans are readily available on line. The suggested hotel is only a short 5 minute ride from the airport I am happy to provide you with the hotel name and contact information for making reservations. It is affordable, reasonably priced and only a few steps from a bus stop that will take you to center of Florence in about 10 minutes for less than two Euros. Getting there: Our tour begins and ends in Florence. There is a small, recently renovated airport, You can fly into Florence (FLR) from most any major European city. There is also a major train station with links to all other major European cities. I typically fly into Frankfurt or Amsterdam and then connect to Florence for a short 1 hour 30 minute flight to Florence. You can also fly into: Pisa, Milan, Rome and easily connect to Florence by train or plane. Deposit and Payments A deposit of $1000 confirms your reservation. The balance is due by 6 weeks prior to the start of the tour. Personal checks preferred, or you may pay via PayPal.  Due to the small size of our groups, we can not refund deposits.  Many of our expenses a fixed and paid well in advance of our tour.  If we can find a replacement traveler a refund will be paid. Travel Documents U.S. citizens need a valid passport, with a minimum of 6 months validity, as regulations have become more rigid. Responsibility Linda Kirsch assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity which may occur. I accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in services, sickness, weather, strikes, war, terrorist action, or other causes. All such losses or expenses must be borne by the participant as tour rates provide for arrangements only for the times stated The right is reserved to make minor changes in the itinerary, and the right is reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure, in which case a full refund will constitute full settlement to the registrant. No refund will be made for any unused portion of the tour
